A Frenchman with multiple sclerosis became the first disabled person to jump with a parachute on Everest, jumping from 10 thousand feet to land on the highest mountain in the world. Marc Kopp, 55, has achieved the feat in tandem with the extreme skydiver Mario Gervasi. They were fired from a helicopter after a free fall of a thousand feet have opened the parachute at 9,000 feet, to land on a platform specially set up on the rock at 4,500 meters.
