Il capitolo intitolato "Insufficienza venosa cronica cerebro-spinale" vede come autori Paolo Zamboni, Pierfrancesco Veroux, Carlo Setacci, Sergio Gianesini, Erica Menegatti e Alessia Giaquinta.

While some neurologists with the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (AISM) continue to deny the very existence of chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI), discovered in 2007 by prof. Paolo Zamboni (Director of the Vascular Diseases Center, University of Ferrara), we learn that this new disease has been inserted even in a chapter of the second edition of "Vascular Surgery" edited by prof. Carlo Sift the University of Siena and the prestigious Italian Society of Vascular Surgery (SICVE).
The chapter entitled "chronic cerebro-spinal venous insufficiency" sees as authors Paolo Zamboni, Pierfrancesco Veroux, Carlo Setacci, Sergio Gianesini, Erica Menegatti and Alessia Giaquinta.
The fact that CCSVI is inserted in the text books says a lot about the importance of this disease.
